The Panther Group has been successfully validated in the categories
- Near-Term-Targets
- Net-Zero-Targets
- FLAG-Targets (Near-Term & Net-Zero)
by the SBTi organization.
SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) is a global organization that encourages companies to contribute to the fight against the climate crisis by meeting certain SBTs (Science Based Targets) and providing evidence of science-based carbon reduction measures.
This makes the Panther Group one of the first companies worldwide to receive a successfully validated Net-Zero 1.5°C target in the “Forest and Paper Products - Forestry, Timber, Pulp and Paper, Rubber” sector and to meet all SBTi targets (Near-Term, Net-Zero and FLAG targets).
The Panther Group hereby undertakes to reduce both emissions that are directly influenced by the company (Scope 1 and Scope 2) and all indirect CO2 emissions (Scope 3) in accordance with the SBTi target.
