The award was accepted by CEO Luigi Lazzareschi during the 18th Annual Transatlantic Award Gala Dinner. During the event, eight Italian and U.S. companies – including AC Milan, Microsoft, and Mutti – were honored for their significant investment operations along the transatlantic axis in 2024.

Sofidel was recognized for its substantial investments, exceeding $1 billion, that led to the acquisition of five new production facilities: in Duluth (Minnesota), Shelby (North Carolina), Lewiston (Idaho), Las Vegas (Nevada), and Elwood (Illinois). Through these moves, Sofidel has become the fourth largest tissue producer in North America, strengthening its market presence and creating a solid foundation for further growth opportunities in a dynamic and expanding market.
