Recycled cardboard: Weig plans price increase

The recycled cartonboard manufacturer Weig has announced a price adjustment for folding boxboard. This is necessary due to the persistently high costs for raw materials, energy and auxiliary materials, Weig announced at the end of February.

The adjustments are to apply to deliveries from April 1. The cartonboard manufacturer did not give a specific amount. This measure is intended to ensure the availability of products and services by passing on increased costs.

Weig had cushioned additional costs internally by optimizing processes, but this was not sufficient to fully compensate for the high costs.
