Progroup announces departure of CFO Dr. Volker Metz

After nine successful years as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Dr. Volker Metz has decided to step down from the Management Board of Progroup AG at the end of 2025. The search for a successor has been successfully completed. Dr. Metz will remain with the company until his induction has been completed to ensure a smooth transition.
“With Dr. Metz, we are losing a proven expert and expert on the financial markets and the company in equal measure. Through his work, he has made an important contribution to the growth of Progroup,” explains CEO Maximilian Heindl. “We would like to thank him not only for his many years of excellent work, but also for communicating his wish very early on and actively supporting us in ensuring a seamless handover.”
Dr. Metz has been CFO of Progroup since 2016 and made a significant contribution to the further development of corporate financing and the implementation of numerous strategic projects. The Supervisory Board and the entire management team regret his decision, but naturally respect it. The company and staff wish him all the best in pursuing new prospects and every success for the future.
