PAWI Packaging expands at the Singen site
News General news
The PAWI Group has once again invested in Singen. After the new building 6 years ago, work on the extension has now been completed. A further 2,300 square metres of the 16,000 square metre site have been built on. The investment amounts to 1.75 million euros. The packaging specialist is thus reacting to the current enormous increase in demand for sustainable packaging made of paper and cardboard.
With the extension, PAWI Packaging has created an additional storage area of approx. 3,200 pallets for raw and finished goods. This increases the storage capacity to almost 5,000 pallet spaces. The expansion will also create new jobs. New employees can look forward to a good working atmosphere and workplaces with modern equipment.
Ecology and sustainability remain a central theme. Our new extension has increased the usable photovoltaic area from 2,200 sqm to over 3,300 sqm, increasing the maximum output from 350 kWp to over 570 kWp. The avoided CO2 emissions amount to 195,000 kg/year.
