In the search for further alternative fibers for sustainable raw material extraction, the manufacturer of recycled corrugated base paper is now also testing bog grasses.
In order to test the suitability of the fiber for further processing, for example for packaging, the first paper rolls could be produced from so-called paludiculture grasses as early as this year.
The climate farm, a project of the Schleswig-Holstein Nature Conservation Foundation, has been testing peatland conservation grassland management for two years.
