Performance Report "Paper 2023" - The paper industry in figures

The German paper industry performed well in 2022, even in an extremely difficult environment. Facts and figures on the development of the industry in the past year are presented in this year's industry performance report "Paper 2023", published by the association DIE PAPIERINDUSTRIE.
"We safeguard people's everyday lives with our products and continue to work on the transformation to climate-neutral production. With our report, we create a high level of transparency," said Association President Winfried Schaur at the presentation of the report. In the performance report, five prominent voices from politics and business - including Federal Minister of Finance Christian Lindner and North Rhine-Westphalia's Minister for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy, Mona Neubaur - give their assessment of the industry's environment.
