News General news
The new FKS/Duplo DBM-700 bookletmaker is the logical further development of the proven FKS/Duplo DBM-600 bookletmaker.
Maximise your output and get more out of a single system - options such as three-sided trimming, a flat booklet spine even with high page counts and the high-quality processing of a square spine offer highly automated production of saddle-stitched booklets.
Intuitive settings and automated format changes ensure that you spend more time on production and less time on configuration. The intelligent feeder enables a wide range of different applications. The spine former option increases the maximum number of pages in a brochure to up to 240 pages at 64 g/m2 or 200 pages at 80 g/m2.
The modular design of the components enables brochure production to be customised to market requirements. Depending on the combination, different booklet systems can be created for individual requirements.
The fully automatic and powerful FKS/Duplo System 7000i combines the intelligent features of the FKS/Duplo DSC-10/60i collating towers with exceptional robustness. Together with the high quality and premium design, it is a reliable production machine in the high print run range.
Thanks to the combination of the DBM-700 and the DSF-6000 digital sheet feeder, the FKS/Duplo Digital System 7000 Pro is the high-speed system for producing high volumes of brochures in digital printing.
The FKS/Duplo Digital System 7000 - the combination of DBM-700 and DSF-2200 digital sheet feeder - is also available as a compact system.
Both configurations with the digital sheet feeders offer maximum security for personalised products. Integrity is ensured by reading barcodes on each sheet.
All these booklet systems combine high quality and robust construction. The new development of the DBM-700 helps to take booklet making to a new level.
The user-friendly PC controller not only enables set-up in under 60 seconds, but also smooth production with very little manual effort.
The saddle stitching with 4 staples, which is already included as standard, is particularly suitable for short runs in double use.
The new optional DBM-700S book spine former ensures that the booklets are perfectly complemented. Even with thicker brochures, the pressing unit forms a perfectly square-bound brochure spine and thus ensures, among other things, a flatter and more compact flatness of the brochures.
An addition in the area of software and Industry 4.0 will further automate the system in the coming months and also drive forward the topics of networking and IoT.
The DBM-700 in all its configurations and options is the perfect answer to the requirements of the current times, which are particularly challenging for all print finishing companies. Low labour costs, minimal resource requirements, flexibility and a wide range of functions and options make it possible to survive in these difficult market conditions.
