Neuenhauser Vorwald is pleased to announce the successful sale of a state-of-the-art, fully automated roll handling system. This system is an important part of the production chain and ensures efficient and continuous handling of the large rolls of paper that are wound in the paper machine.
With an impressive production speed of 2,100 meters per minute, the paper manufacturer works around the clock, 365 days a year. The planned system will support this production output in order to be able to produce up to 4 million paper rolls per day as an end product. The fully automated system not only offers maximum precision, but also a storage function that ensures maximum efficiency and a smooth process.
The technical details speak for themselves: the system can handle rolls with a diameter of up to 2,300 mm and a width of up to 2,720 mm. With a maximum roll weight of 3,300 kg, it is perfectly designed for the requirements of modern paper production. The system includes an infeed and outfeed device for holding and clamping expansion shafts, a roll tilting chair with cross conveyor and a roll conveyor with storage function.
