Mondi Grünburg and Healthy Kids conquer the German market

Organic snacks for kids, no added sugar, with pure, natural ingredients: having conquered the Austrian market, the PURE&FUN concept developed by the young Salzburg start-up Healthy Kids is now advancing into the German retail market. They are also taking with them displays produced in Upper Austria, including the attractive and attention-grabbing POS placement used in Globus outlets and around 1,300 dm drugstores across Germany.

“We were impressed with the PURE&FUN idea right from the start. To date food retailing has offered almost no healthy snacks for kids. Our task is to support this innovative product idea with an attractive POS placement solution,” explains Florian Döbl, Managing Director of Mondi Grünburg.

The result is an attention-grabbing, high-quality printed display suitable for a variety of product placements. The display has already been used to successfully present Healthy Kids products in Austria’s EUROSPAR and INTERSPAR retail outlets since the end of 2020, and now also appears in many REWE stores.

“We are naturally delighted that Healthy Kids will also be using the display in the German market, where it will encourage parents and children to choose healthy, natural food products,” says Döbl.

Mondi Grünburg: investment in state-of-the-art printing technology

Mondi Grünburg is a corrugated box plant producing innovative packaging solutions and standard corrugated boxes. The company is currently investing in the latest printing technology and enhancing its equipment base with the addition of a new offset printing machine.

The company manufactures a range of products, including die-cut packaging, glued packaging solutions, wrap-around boxes, trays, shelf-ready packaging (POS, tray & hood) and combined packaging solutions.
Mondi is an international packaging and paper group; in Austria the company has a total of eight locations and a workforce of around 2,500 employees.
