Modelfabrik Papier grows with Progroup and Adolf Jass Paper Mill

The Modellfabrik Papier has gained further partners from the paper industry. The two paper manufacturers Progroup and Papierfabrik Adolf Jass are new shareholders of Modellfabrik Papier gGmbH - Gesellschaft zur Forschungsförderung nachhaltiger Papiertechnologien.
The expansion to now 17 shareholders shows how broad the support from the paper industry is. After all, the project lives from the input of the players in the paper industry. Against this background, the Modelfabrik Papier is still open to new partners. In the course of the coming year 2022, two to three new partners could be added.
The Modelfabrik Papier is based on the pre-competitive commitment of the founding members ABB, Bellmer, Essity, Felix Schoeller, Koehler Paper, Mitsubishi Paper, Niederauer Mühle, Omya, PK Varel, Sappi, Schoellershammer, Schönfelder Papierfabrik, Voith, Weig Karton and Wepa.
The project is supported by the partners TU Darmstadt, TU Dresden, PTS, Forschungszentrum Jülich, RWTH Aachen, FH Aachen, the association DIE PAPIERINDUSTRIE (eh. VDP) and WIN.DN.
