All major suppliers of kraftliner have now reportedly announced price increases.

As a rule, these are to apply from 1 April and amount to €70-80 per tonne. Converters report that there have been announcements that were even higher and are to take effect earlier, but also lower ones.
The adjustments are justified by enormous cost pressure, with wood and auxiliary materials in particular having become significantly more expensive, and the resulting insufficient margins against the backdrop of balanced market conditions and improved demand.
