JPP completes takeover of the insolvent Inapa Deutschland Group

The troubled Inapa Deutschland Group has completed the final step in its corporate development as of December 1, 2024 and will now operate under the new name OVOL Deutschland Group.
This change is a significant milestone in the growth strategy of the parent company Japan Pulp and Paper Co, Ltd (JPP), which is further expanding its market presence in Europe, especially in Germany, through the acquisition of Inapa Deutschland and its subsidiaries, the company explains in a press release. The repositioning under the OVOL brand stands for high standards in the field of paper and packaging solutions.
On October 11, 2024, JPP signed the purchase agreement for the operations of the insolvent companies Inapa Deutschland, Inapa ComPlott and Inapa Packaging GmbH. The paper wholesalers had filed for provisional insolvency proceedings in July 2024.
