Fjord Paper Flensburg GmbH is continuing operations even during the preliminary insolvency proceedings.

The troubled manufacturer of specialty papers focuses on papers with security features, for example for labels, tickets and packaging. According to market experts, production is secured with raw materials and orders until the end of 2024. The so-called insolvency money covers wages and salaries for the months of October to December inclusive.

The insolvency administrator interviewed by EUWID commented on the status of the proceedings at Fjord Paper Flensburg: “There are currently several interested parties who are interested in taking over the company and who have already visited the plant and received documents for examination.”
