Insolvency proceedings in self-administration for Papierfabrik Hainsberg confirmed

The provisional proceedings in the insolvency proceedings for Papierfabrik Hainsberg GmbH, Freital, have been concluded. The Dresden Local Court has confirmed self-administration as of 1 January 2024. Dr Nils Freudenberg from the law firm Tiefenbacher, Dresden, has been appointed as administrator.
In the meantime, Papierfabrik Hainsberg has stated that business operations will continue in full. Employees as well as customers and suppliers remain loyal to the company. The current order situation allows full operation of the paper machine. The Hainsberg paper mill produces recycled graphic paper and packaging paper in particular, the proportion of which has recently decreased.
According to EUWID, the parties involved assume that the proceedings can be successfully concluded by 30 June 2024.
