The new owners of the German printing ink manufacturer are a consortium consisting of Mavco Investments and Avenue Capital Group. The acquisition was announced in mid-November 2024.

The sale represents a significant milestone for hubergroup to become a leading international, fully integrated supplier of printing inks, primarily focused on the packaging industry, hubergroup stated in November. With the help of the new owners, investments in high-impact areas are to be increased.
