Horizon is taking part in Fachpack for the first time
Visitors can expect a strong trio in Hall 7, Stand 7-466: with the RD-N4055DM rotary die-cutter, the Fold Stream folding and gluing machine from Pro Cut and the AF-408F folding machine, Horizon will be demonstrating the production process from die-cutting and gluing the packaging to folding the matching leaflet.

All Horizon machines on display will be networked via iCE LiNK. In addition to monitoring the production status of each individual machine in real time, the cloud-based workflow service also enables preventive maintenance management and the sending of order data to the machine.

RD-N4055DM: the rotary die-cutting system for maximum efficiency
The Horizon RD-N4055DM works with a flexible and intelligently controlled rotary die-cutting principle in which the material to be die-cut can be transported forwards and backwards in the machine. This allows the cutting die to be used in multiple applications. The result: a significant reduction in the cost of cutting dies - a decisive competitive advantage, especially for short runs. Thanks to the optional separating unit, there is also no need to manually separate the products from the sheet. As a solution for die-cutting, embossing, creasing, perforating and embossing, the RD-N4055DM opens up a whole range of possible applications, including personalized packaging, presentation folders, playing cards, business cards, stickers, labels, mailings, flyers in unusual shapes and much more.

The perfect addition: Pro Cut Fold Stream
Cooperation partner Pro Cut provides the perfect complement to the die-cutting machine: The Fold Stream folding and gluing machine enables user-friendly set-up and changeover for a wide range of applications. Folding boxes, sleeves and slipcases, tuck-in flap boxes, pillow boxes, pouch boxes and hexagonal boxes with longitudinal seam gluing can be produced in very short runs.

AF-408F: the professional for very small folds
The presentation at Fachpack will be rounded off by the AF-408F folding machine: with a minimum fold length of just 18 mm, it is particularly suitable for the flexible and fully automatic production of very small folds, such as leaflets. The folding machine guarantees extremely short set-up times as well as high productivity and quality, even for complex folds: All necessary settings are made fully automatically within a few seconds after selecting the fold type on the touchscreen. Thanks to the score navigator, the creasing tools can also be positioned automatically. Enhanced by the KTU-40 mobile knife folding unit, additional folds can be made in a cross fold or a parallel fold if the material is already too thick for the buckle plates. For example, products with a minimum format of up to 20 x 30 mm and a maximum product thickness of up to 6 mm can also be produced.
