The declared aim is to support young professionals and college pupils wishing to study at university on their educational path. Heilbronn University offers the ideal opportunities for combining lecture-based studies with practical experience in a commercial setting. Study model at the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences
Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences offers prospective students individual study options, including "Study with in-depth practical experience". This is a full-time study programme across seven semesters during which the theoretical content is conveyed in lectures, seminars, projects and laboratories at the university. Practical knowledge is provided alongside the course of study for the entire duration by a specific company. In lecture-free periods and during the practical semester, the students spend their time at the partner company to gain practical professional experience there. In addition, students write their dissertation at the company. A monthly allowance is paid to students for the whole of the study programme. The "Study with in-depth practical experience" model provides students with a broad knowledge base incorporating both theoretical and practical technical expertise.
