FKS/Duplo DSM-1000 - Your entry into the booming packaging market

The high variability makes it easy to process a variety of substrates and perform a wide range of finishing operations, including creasing, perforating, slitting, punching and blind embossing. The DSM-1000 is therefore suitable for the production of packaging, POS displays, folders and shaped cards of all kinds. Products can also be produced efficiently in small and medium runs.

Thanks to its intelligent functions, it is characterized by a high degree of automation. Integrated mark reading ensures maximum precision with every sheet pass. Two sensors read the register marks printed on the sheet and align the sheet in the X and Y directions. This ensures that each sheet is precisely aligned with the cutting die before punching.

The entire system is operated via the central and user-friendly PC control system. A job change can be carried out in less than 2 minutes via the automated control system.

In addition, a job memory is available to create an unlimited number of jobs and store them for future use. A barcode can be used to easily call up saved jobs with all the parameters stored for a cutting die. All that remains to be done is to insert the appropriate cutting die and the set-up is complete.

Large-format sheets can be processed with a smaller cutting die thanks to a repeat function. Up to three punching operations per run can be carried out with the same cutting die. This saves time and reduces the costs of cutting die production.

A universal adapter plate also makes it possible to use existing cutting dies, e.g. from the platen on the DSM-1000, without having to create or convert them from scratch.

Coupled with the variable contact pressure of up to 40 tons and a blade length of up to 5 meters in the cutting die, this results in a remarkable output of up to 3,100 sheets per hour.

The DSM-1000 is available in a Basic and Pro version. The Basic version is supplied with a delivery tray as standard. It is particularly suitable for stacking sheets.
The DSM-1000 Pro is equipped with a long belt delivery and a delivery tray. This enables the delivery of single-ups, as all cutting waste is separated and removed by separators beforehand. In addition, the Pro version of the DSM-1000 is supplemented by a separator unit that automatically separates and disposes of offcuts from the end product.
Depending on the application, the separator unit can also be used to break out or remove internal cuttings. This eliminates the need to manually separate the cuttings from the product and reduces the operator's workload. The production of an expensive stripping mold is therefore not necessary.
