NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH 4EVERGREEN AND PROVEN COOPERATION WITH PRO CARTON
This year, the FFI will present a joint stand together with Pro Carton and, for the first time, with 4evergreen under the motto "The folding carton: living sustainability", which will focus on the recyclability and life cycle of folding cartons. This new partnership and proven collaboration underlines the associations' commitment to environmentally friendly and environmentally friendly and future-oriented packaging solutions.

RECYCLABILITY OF FOLDING CARTONS
The joint stand in Hall 3A-130 will focus on the recyclability and life cycle of folding cartons. These topics are central to the sustainable development of the folding carton industry, which is constantly changing to meet growing environmental challenges, regulatory pressure from Brussels and Berlin and changing consumer demands.
changing consumer demands. The excellent recyclability of folding cartons illustrates the industry's circular approach, which takes into account the entire life cycle of a folding carton - from the design phase to use and recycling.

FOLDING BOXBOARD: A PRIME EXAMPLE OF A SUCCESSFUL CIRCULAR ECONOMY
The cartonboard fibers used in Europe for the production of folding cartons are obtained from 100% renewable, non-fossil raw materials (wood fibers and cellulose or recycled paper) and come exclusively from sustainable and mostly certified forestry (FSC, PEFC).
Through comprehensive collection of used folding cartons and systematic and qualified sorting, the used paper fibers are completely recycled into new folding cartons made of cardboard and other paper-based products. The fibers from the cardboard packaging can be fully recycled more than 25 times to produce new paper and cardboard products. Recycled-based folding boxboard is a combination of recycled and virgin fibers. As the fibers are shortened during repeated circulation in the waste paper cycle and the processing of the wood fibers, virgin fibers must always be added to recycled cartonboard. This is why the folding carton or cardboard fiber can be referred to as "circular packaging" (eco-loop).

ASSOCIATIONS' JOINT STAND IN HALL 3A-130
Special information materials and exhibits will be provided at the joint stand to illustrate the recyclability and the entire life cycle of folding cartons. Visitors can obtain comprehensive information about the environmentally friendly aspects and innovative strength of the folding carton industry.
"Participating in FachPack offers us an excellent platform to highlight the importance of sustainable packaging solutions and demonstrate the innovative strength of the folding carton industry," says Christian Schiffers, Managing Director of FFI. "We look forward to exchanging ideas with industry experts, members and partners in order to shape the future of the industry together."

We cordially invite all visitors to FachPack to visit our joint stand in Hall 3A-130 and find out more about the sustainable solutions of the folding carton industry. Discover how folding cartons embody sustainability in practice!
