Dr. Deimel is no stranger to the print and media industry. Before handing over the reins to Kirsten Hommelhoff at the beginning of 2024, he managed the BVDM for 13 years. At the beginning of 2025, he will once again be serving the association as acting head. “Dr. Deimel is very familiar with the association's structures, the BVDM's tasks and is a proven industry expert. Especially in politically turbulent times, we are relying on him to maintain the unbroken strength of the federal association,” explains Wolfgang Poppen, President of the BVDM.
