Crafting with paper and coloured paper
News News blog
You can make lots of lovely things with paper. We have some suggestions for you here that you can also make with your children or grandchildren.
1) Hedgehog wreath
Simply enter the keyword "Igelkranz" (hedgehog wreath) in the search engine.
You will need brown coloured paper, a pencil and compass, a triangle and scissors as well as a black pen
Draw a circle with a diameter of approx. 24 cm using the compass and cut it out. Then fold the circle in half and fold the semi-circle into three parts again.
Now draw a hedgehog on the top sixth part.
Important: A piece must protrude over the edge on each side of the hedgehog so that the hedgehog remains connected.
Then cut out the hedgehog and make sure that the "connecting parts" are not cut through.
Then unfold the hedgehog wreath and draw a face on each of the 6 hedgehogs with the black pen. The hedgehog wreath looks very decorative when placed around a tea light, a fruit bowl or a vase, for example.
Of course you can also use any other animal for the wreath, I have already made a turtle wreath myself.
2) Heaven and hell
You probably remember Heaven and Hell from your childhood, now you can make it with your children or grandchildren.
All you need is a piece of square paper.
First fold the vertical and horizontal centre lines. Then smooth out the folded edges. Now fold the two diagonals.
Now fold all the corners to the centre.
Now turn the paper over and fold all the corners to the centre again.
Now insert your fingers into the four corners from below.
Now paint the areas that you see when you open the game to one side in a different colour.
And heaven and hell are finished.
3) Window decorations made from paper
Window decorations made from pap are also very nice to make. You will need paper in different colours (also available as a ready-made block with many colours), scissors and possibly a pencil.
If you enter the term " Window decorations made from paper" in the search engine, you will receive many suggestions, and there are even free craft templates. Seasonal versions are very nice here - e.g. Easter bunnies and chicks for Easter, flowers and butterflies in summer, hedgehogs and squirrels in autumn and snowmen and stars in winter. You can hang these decorations in the window, on the wall, on the closet etc. and change them again for the new season.
