Co-operation between Papierfabrik Meldorf and OutNature

There is a new collaboration between Papierfabrik Meldorf and OutNature in the field of alternative fibres for paper production. The paper mill, which has been active in this sector for many years and can therefore draw on extensive experience and structures, is supporting OutNature with packaging papers made from a recycled silphia mix. The papers with a basis weight of 115 - 170 g/m2 are food-certified and are primarily intended for use in the corrugated cardboard sector.
The steadily growing interest in the market for packaging made from sustainable raw materials has made this step possible and emphasises the importance of such a cooperation. OutNature is a brand of the environmental services provider PreZero and is involved in the development and sale of innovative fibre and paper products, primarily made from silphie fibres.
Papierfabrik Meldorf has been active in the paper industry for over 65 years and, in the field of
packaging papers, it stands for short reaction times, high flexibility and the production of small batch sizes and niche products. In addition to quality and energy efficiency, special attention is paid to environmental protection, with a focus on the responsible use of resources.
