Binderhaus shows new creasing-folding machines and die-cutting platens at drupa 2024
News General news
In Hall 6 C07, Binderhaus will be showcasing the complete range of machines for creasing, scoring and folding from Bacciottini as well as die-cutting platens from Thermotype.
Two models with up to 16,000 cycles/hour are new to the range of creasing and grooving machines. In addition to creasing and scoring, both machines can also perform tear-off perforation, micro-perforation and wire comb punching. The inline folding machine for both grooving machines, which folds up to 450 g/sqm with 1 or 2 breaks, will also be shown with an improved control system. A completely new feature is an inline folding unit that also masters the closed altar fold and sets itself up fully automatically.
The Thermotype NSF EXCEL die-cutting machine can be seen with hot foil stamping in the 4-fold panel. The four panels are also die-cut and the die-cutting waste is automatically removed by an inline stripping machine. Thermotype die-cutting machines can repeat up to 8 times per sheet as standard to minimise set-up time and die-cutting costs. These flat-on-flat die-cutting machines can also die-cut, perforate, blind emboss, emboss in relief, apply hologram foil, Braille, produce folding boxes and number.
In Hall 14 D04, B.MATIC will be exhibiting its counting machine programme represented by Binderhaus. They count sheets from 40 to 800 g/sqm of paper, cardboard or film without deformation or surface damage. Also on show will be double-head counting machines for security printers, strip feeders and friction feeder counting machines with code reading.
