With the VIVUS range label, the paper wholesaler is focusing on innovative and sustainable papers and cartons. Particularly in the trendy area of high-quality natural products, there is great demand for materials that can credibly represent environmentally conscious brand messages.

New to the VIVUS range, which recently caused a sensation with its grass paper, are the products VIVUS SilphiePaper and VIVUS SilphieBoard, which are offered in cooperation with Neckarsulm-based partner OutNature. They consist of 35% fibers from the continuous silphia, a yellow-flowering crop plant. Up to now, the plant fibers have been a residual material from the energy recovery of the plant to produce biogas. By separating the fiber beforehand and preparing it for paper production, the plant is put to cascade use so that resources are no longer wasted.
The new paper and board grades are both FSC-certified and certified by ISEGA for direct contact with dry, non-greasy foods. They are particularly suitable for folding cartons, trays, labels, banderoles, cards, hangtags, and envelopes and folders. Sustainably made from floral fibers, the papers have a pleasant brownish hue and good converting and printing properties.

VIVUS SilphiePaper and VIVUS SilphieBoard are available in basis weights of 100, 115, 130 and 170 gsm (SilphiePaper) and 200 and 250 gsm (SilphieBoard).
