Arkhbum Tissue Group LLC launched sales of Soffione napkins

Arkhbum Tissue Group LLC (Vorsino industrial park, Kaluga region, part of the Pulp Mill Holding) has launched an OMET line (Italy) for the production of Soffione napkins. The company has now started to produce napkins for sale.
The performance test of the OMET line with a capacity of 150 tons or 150 million pieces per month is scheduled for April this year.
Also in April, ATG will carry out the performance test of the third Futura converting line (Italy) with a capacity of 230 million standard rolls of toilet paper and paper towels per year, including one Plus line packing machine (Italy), the automatic palletizing robot and Elettric 80 autoloaders (Italy), as well as Bema pallet wrapper (Italy). The company has now completed the installation and is performing the production tests.
ATG has planned to start sales of third converting line’s products in March 2021.
The company expects its share in the Russian market for pulp types of sanitary tissue products to grow to 10%.
The Investment Director of Pulp Mill Holding, member of the Board of Directors of Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill and Arkhbum Tissue Group LLC Vladimir Krupchak said that the construction of a warehouse for finished products of the second and third lines of the plant has been completed, the facility is being prepared for commissioning.
He also said that ATG is preparing an Investment Agreement for the construction of the second and third lines of the plant, which the company intends to sign with the Administration of Kaluga region, Kaluga Region Development Corporation and Vorsino Industrial Park.
As previously reported, after the launch of the second and third lines of the plant, the entire capacity of Arkhbum Tissue Group will increase to 210 thousand tons of products per year.
The total cost of these two projects is estimated at more than 16 billion rubles.
