Arctic Paper appoints business developer for the energy area

Arctic Paper has recruited Daniel Bergkvist to a new position as Group Business developer with responsibility for the group's activities in the energy area. Daniel Bergkvist is a Swedish citizen with experience in, among other things, energy issues and international business. He will report to the group CEO.

Investments in renewable and fossil-free energy with the aim of the group becoming carbon dioxide neutral by 2030 is an important part of Arctic Paper's strategy. The group invests in green energy solutions such as hydropower in Munkedal, biomass in Grycksbo and solar cells in Kostrzyn.

"The energy sector is very important for our future growth and holds great potential. By adding a business developer, we gain even more strength to develop Arctic Paper's activities in the area," says Michał Jarczyński, CEO of Arctic Paper.

Daniel Bergkvist most recently comes from the role of responsible for business development at AFRY Energy and has previously worked with energy issues at E.ON and with international sales, among other things.
